Caden Watkins YMAD India Service

Caden W.

Hi I’m Caden. I’m 17, I’m a Junior at Lehi High School. I play on the high school soccer team, am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and I am very excited for this trip. I would be very grateful if you could help me get there.

I first heard about Youth Making A Difference (YMAD) during my freshman year while attending Highland High School. I instantly took an interest and knew that the program was something I wanted to be a part of! Not only that, but I have always wanted to participate in a humanitarian trip and so conveniently YMAD seemed like the perfect fit! Since then, I have applied, interviewed and have been accepted into the great organization. Easily, applying was the best decision I have ever made! I cannot wait to go to India to serve with my team! What a neat opportunity I have been given!

About YMAD (Youth Making a Difference)
YMAD provides leadership training and practical experiences that make a difference in the world, transforming the lives of the participants and those they serve. During the year the teens learn about leadership and how to make a difference in the world from educators, mentors and guest speakers.

Students who are a part of the program are trained in leadership skills, fundraising, community service and humanitarian work. Participants travel to India to distribute collected medical supplies and charitable donations. While there, they perform service related tasks and interact with the children at the various orphanages and government schools.
