Kathy Richmond Costume DesignerKathy is excited to be a part of her first official show with the Hopebox Theatre! She has been sewing and designing for over 15 years. Her last major community theater production was for Farmington City’s Disney’s Jungle Book. Other credits include being a part of Salt Lake City’s Pioneer Float and received the Utah Pioneer Award. She has worked with The Bluffdale Arts Council on such projects as The Scarlet Pimpernel, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream coat, Peter Pan, Wizard of Oz, and Beauty and the Beast.

Kathy has recently worked on an independent feature film, Hello I love You! as head of wardrobe and costumes design. She is also advancing her education in costume design at SLCC. She is currently teaches sewing classes to younger children and has spent time in El Salvador on an International Humanitarian project of educating others to develop their sewing skills. She is grateful for the love and support by her parents and friends and for the opportunity to share her talents with something she loves.
